Borith

(Lat. Borith, for the Gr. text is not extant) is given ( 2 Esdras 1:2 [Vulg. 4 Esdr ] ) as the son of Abisei, and father of Ozias, in the genealogy of Ezra; evidently a corruption of BUKKI (See Bukki) (q.v.), as in  Ezra 7:4.
