He entered the Established Churchbut in 1648 became a Puritan, and was made pastor of St. Alcmond's in Shrewsbury. He afterwards became pastor of Tamworth in Staffordshire, where he was also one of the committee for the ejection of "ignorant and scandalous ministers and schoolmasters." He died in June, 1657.
