Bell, William (5),
an English Wesleyan missionary, was born at Lowth, Lincolnshire. His zeal and steadfastness when a local preacher, as well as his bodily vigor, induced the conference to send him upon his entering the itinerancy in 1822 as a missionary on the River Gambia, West Africa.
