In 1841 he located, and in 1843 was put on the superannuated list, which relation he held until his decease, Feb. 15, 1873. Mr. Batcheler was a man of great devotedness to the Church, and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Brookfield, Mass., Aug. 23, 1795.
