( Βασσά v. r. Βασσαί ) , one of the Israelitish family-heads whose "sons" (to the number of 323) returned from the captivity ( 1 Esdras 5:16); evidently the BEZAI (See Bezai) (q.v.) of the genuine texts ( Ezra 2:17;  Nehemiah 7:23).
