In 1604 he succeeded his kinsman, Jean d'Aubespine, in the bishopric of Orleans. He inherited a talent for negotiation, and was so successful that many affairs were intrusted to him. a French prelate, was born in Paris, Jan. 26, 1579. He was the son of Guillaume d'Aubespine, baron of Chateauneuf. In 1604 he succeeded his kinsman, Jean d'Aubespine, in the bishopric of Orleans. He inherited a talent for negotiation, and was so successful that many affairs were intrusted to him.
