( Ἀκβώς v. r. Ἀκκώς , for Heb. Koz, with the art. הִקּוֹוֹ , Hak-Kots'), one of the priests whose descendants returned from the captivity, having lost their pedigree ( 1 Esdras 5:38); evidently the same with Koz (q.v.) of the parallel text ( Ezra 2:61).
