Kain [1]

( קין , ḳayin ): A clan name, the King James Version "the Kenite" (  Numbers 24:22;  Judges 4:11 ). In the first passage the Revised Version (British and American) has "Kain" and margin "the Kenites"; in the second, the Revised Version (British and American) has "the Kenite" in text and margin "Kain."
