1: Γονυπετέω (Strong'S #1120 — Verb — gonupeteo — gon-oo-pet-eh'-o )

denotes "to bow the knees, kneel," from gonu (see above) and pipto, "to fall prostrate," the act of one imploring aid,  Matthew 17:14;  Mark 1:40; of one expressing reverence and honor,  Mark 10:17; in mockery,  Matthew 27:29 .
