1: Νέκρωσις (Strong'S #3500 — Noun Feminine — nekrosis — nek'-ro-sis )

"a putting to death" (cp. Dead, A and B), is rendered "dying" in  2—Corinthians 4:10; "deadness" in  Romans 4:19 , i.e., the state of being virtually "dead."
