Azaelus . One of those who put away their foreign wives ( 1Es 9:34 ).

(Ἀζαῆλος ), one of the Israelites, sons of Maani," who is said to have divorced his Gentile wife after the exile ( 1 Esdras 9:34); but the name is apparently an erroneous repetition for the Esril just preceding it (Azareel of  Ezra 10:41). (See Azael).
