<p> The thorn-bush in which God was pleased to reveal Himself to Moses when He gave him his commission. &nbsp;Exodus 3:2-4 . God's presence made it holy ground, and one of His characteristics is brought out by the bush burning, without being consumed; for 'our God is a consuming fire,' burning up the dross, without destruction.
