Ashbel (‘man of Baal’). The second son of Benjamin (  1 Chronicles 8:1; cf.   Genesis 46:21 ,   Numbers 26:38 ). In   Numbers 26:38 Ashbelite , inhabitant of Ashbel, occurs.
