1. (Ε᾿λιωνάς v.r. Ε᾿λιωναϊ v ς, Vulg. omits.) One of the sons of "Phaisur," who divorced his Gentile wife after the exile ( 1 Esdras 9:22); evidently the Elioenai (See Elioenai) (q.v.) of the Hebrews text ( Ezra 10:22).
2. (Ε᾿λιωνάς, Vulg. Noneas.) One of the sons of "Annas," who did the same ( 1 Esdras 9:32); doubtless the Eliezer (See Eliezer) (q.v.) of the Hebrews text ( Ezra 10:31).
