Mount Pisgah [1]

This is the same as Nebo, for the word Pisgah only means hill or top, from Pasag; so that Nebo, Pisgah, and Abarim, are one and the same, near mount Peor, over against Jericho, in the country of Moab. (See  Numbers 21:20;  Deuteronomy 34:1.) See Mount Nebo.
