Neubauer says ( Geog . du Talmud , 225) that later the name of Nekeb was Ciyadathah. It may therefore be represented by the modern Seiyādeh , not far from ed - Dāmieh to the East of Tabor, about 4 miles Southwest of Tiberias. The name of Nekeb, a town in Galilee, appears in the list of Thothmes Iii.
