Εναγαλλείμ ), a place named only by Ezekiel ( Ezekiel 47:10), apparently as on the Dead Sea, but whether near to or far from Engedi, on the west or east side of the sea, it is impossible to ascertain from the text: "The fishers shall stand upon it from En-gedi even to En-eglaim: they shall be a place to spread forth nets." In his comment on the passage, Jerome places it at the northern end of the Deed Sea, at the influx of the Jordan. M. de Saulcy thinks it identical with AinAjlah, situated towards the northern point of the Dead Sea, between Jericho and the Jordan (Narrative, 1:163). (See Beth- Hoglah).
