Giezoc, גַּזֹה, perhaps quarry), a place unknown except as the residence of Hashem, the ancestor of two of the sons of David's warriors (1 Chronicles 12:34). As these are called Hasasites (i.e., "mountaineers") in this as well as the parallel passage (2 Samuel 23:32; 2 Samuel 23:34), we may perhaps infer that the city in question was situated somewhere in the mountains of Judah.
