<p> Arnoul (Arnulph, or Earnulphe), of [[Rochester]] </p> <p> (hence called Rofensis), who died March 15, 1124, was at first a monk at Beauvais, afterwards prior of Canterbury, then abbot of Petersburg, and in 1114 or 1115 bishop of Rochester. He wrote Textus Roffensis, a history of his bishopric (in Warthon, A glia Sacra, i, 329-334, and, ed.
