<p> a French jurist and theologian, was born at [[Champagne]] in 1546. He entered the Order of the Cistercians, and was appointed abbot of Marimond. He died Sept. 14, 1590. He published in 1580 the Coutume du Bassigny. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v. </p>
