<p> a Danish divine and edui cator, noted, however, mainly as a hymnologist, flourished in the early part of the last century. He was a professor in the gymnasium at Odensee, in Funen, and died in 1728. He is known bv:us simply as the author,of the Danlisi hymn transltedy [[Sabine]] Barney Gould, "When my tongue can no more." See Miller, [[Singers]] and Songs of the Church. </p>
