<p> a [[Reformed]] (Dutch) minister, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, February 24, 1801. He graduated from [[Princeton]] College in 1819, and from the New [[Brunswick]] Theological Seminary in 1822; was licensed the latter year, and immediately became pastor at Greenbush and Blooming Grove, Rensselaer County, N.Y.; in 1825 at Aquackanock (now Passaic), N.J.; in 1828 at Bergeni, where he was made pastor emeritus in 1870, and died, Feb. 2,1881. He published several sermons and addresses, and a volume entitled Annals of the [[Classis]] and Township of [[Bergen]] (1856). </p>
