el - beth´el ( אל בּית־אל , 'ēl bēth - 'ēl , "God of Bethel"; Βαιθήλ , Baithḗl ): By this name Jacob called the scene of his vision at Luz, when he returned from Paddan-aram ( Genesis 35:7 ).
