<p> an eminent Spanish painter, was born at [[Madrid]] in 1632 and was instructed in the school of Miguel Manrique. There are many of his works at Malaga, Cordova, and Granada. In the [[Church]] de la Charidad, at Malaga, is a fine picture of 'The [[Triumph]] of the Cross; and in the cathedral, The [[Ascension]] of Christ, and The Assumption of the Virgin.
