<p> A Congregational minister, was born at Whiting, Vt., April 13, 1792. He studied theology with [[Josiah]] Hopkins and B. Wooster, and was ordained at Coventry, Vt., 1823. After his dismissal from Coventry, he preached in various towns in [[Vermont]] and Canada. During the latter part of his life, he was colporteur for the American [[Tract]] Society. He died Feb. 27, 1857. See Cong. Quarterly, 1864, p. 32. </p>
