(Heb. Zarchi', זִרְחַי , Sept. Ζαραϊ v V.R. Σαραϊ v, A. V. "Zarhites"), the patronymic of the family of Zerah son of Judah ( Numbers 26:20; Joshua 7:17 1 Chronicles 27:11; 1 Chronicles 27:13), and also of that descended from Zerah son of Simeon ( Numbers 26:13).
