Some Hebrew manuscripts have ya‛dāh in  1 Chronicles 9:42 , and it should probably be accepted as the correct reading there, for ya‛dāh = Jehoaddah yehō‛addāh , linguistically; compare Jonathan and Jehonathan, etc.
