Heave-Shoulder [1]

( שׁוֹק תְּרוּמָה , Sept. Βραχίων Ἀφαιρέματος .) is the name applied to the (right) shoulder that fell to the priests in the presentation of animals as a thank-offering ( Leviticus 7:34; Numbers vi. 20; 18:18), which could be eaten only by such of their families as were in a ceremonially clean state ( Leviticus 10:14). (See Offering).
