Girolamo Colleoni [1]

an Italian painter, was born at Bergamo about 1495. His paintings in the Church of San Antonio dell' Ospitale, at Bergamo, were destroyed by fire. There is one in San Erasmo, near Bergamo, which represents The Virgin and Infant; with Magdalene and Saints, and is one of his most esteemed works. See Spooner, Biog.
