<p> a Congregational minister, was b6rn at South Orange, N. J., Dec. 28, 1805. After leaving the academy at Bloomfield, N. J., he entered Yale College, graduating in 1835, and three years after from Yale Theological Seminary. In June, 1842, he was ordained pastor of the church in Wolcott, Conn., where he remained exactly fifteen years. From Feb. 1859, to April, 1876, he was pastor of the Millington [[Church]] in East Haddam; and after this he remained without charge. He died at East Haddam, Conn., July 30, 1881. See Cong. Year-book, 1882, p. 23. </p>
