a famous Talmudist, who died at Slonim in 1827, is the author of איי הים , or Disquisitions On The Haggadas In The Talmud And Explanations Of The Haggadic Interpretation Of The Scripture (Ostrok, 1835): — שפה לנאמנים , a Hebrew grammar (Lemberg, 1793): also Philosophical Derashas, or homilies, (1802):Commentaries on Maimonides' introduction to the Talmudic tract Tohoroth, etc. See First, Bibl.
