Alfonso Vargas [1]
a Spanish Augustinian eremite, was a doctor of Paris, bishop of Badajos, and archbishop of Seville, where-he died. 1359. He published, Commentary on the First Book of the Sentences ‘ (Venice, 1490): Quaestiones in Aristotelis Libros Tres de Anima (ibid. 1566).
