Amelgard [1]

a Belgian priest, lived at Liege near the close of the 15th. century. He was charged, it is said, by Charles VII with the revision of the trial of Joan of Arc. He wrote, De Rebus Gestis Caroli VII Historiarum Libri V: — De Rebus Gestis Ludovici XI,; Francorum Regis, Historiarum Libri I. The unpublished MS. is preserved in the National Library at Paris.
