He studied under Luther and Melanchthon at Wittenberg, taught and preached [[Lutheranism]] in several cities in Hungary, and was taken prisoner by. the Turks, who treated him with great cruelty. He subsequently officiated as minister at Buda and in many other places. He died at Reven, in Hungary, May 2, 1572. He left the following works, which were afterwards published: Assertio de Trinitate (1573): — Tabulae Analyticae in Prophetas, Psalmos, et Novum Testamentuna (1592): — Speculuns Romanum Pontificum Historicum (1602).
