He was admitted to [[Westminster]] School in 1680, and in 1686 to [[Christ]] [[Church]] College, Oxford, where he proceeded as A.M. in 1693, and as D.D. in 1704; became a tutor in his college; took orders in the Church of England; and became rector of Bletchley, in Buckinghamshire, and of Cottesbach, in Leicestershire, in 1717, where he died, in August, 1727. He was admitted to Westminster School in 1680, and in 1686 to Christ Church College, Oxford, where he proceeded as A.M. in 1693, and as D.D. in 1704; became a tutor in his college; took orders in the Church of England; and became rector of Bletchley, in Buckinghamshire, and of Cottesbach, in Leicestershire, in 1717, where he died, in August, 1727.
