an English Dissenting minister and tutor, was born in 1631. He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford; went to Dublin and became senior fellow of Trinity College; returned to England for ordination; went again to Ireland and preached there for several years; but was afterwards stripped of his fellowship and returned to England.
