He was legate of the holy see in Lombardy, and accompanied, as chancellor, [[Charles]] of Anjou, brother of St. Louis, to the kingdom of Naples. In 1265 he brought to the king of [[Sicily]] the aid of three thousand horses, which he had collected at Mantua. A French prelate and peer, was born at Bayeux, at the commencement of the 13th century. He was legate of the holy see in Lombardy, and accompanied, as chancellor, Charles of Anjou, brother of St. Louis, to the kingdom of Naples. In 1265 he brought to the king of Sicily the aid of three thousand horses, which he had collected at Mantua.
