<p> bishop OF TRALLES, is the reputed author of a letter to Peter [[Fuller]] against the clause added by the latter to the Trisagion, about A.D. 483. The letter is contained in the collections of the councils; but both its authenticity and the existence of Asclepialdes are disputed. </p>

[[Eusebius]] (Hist. &nbsp;Ecclesiastes 6:11) mentions him as "having become conspicuous in the confessions during the time of the persecution" (of Severus).
