He served as pastor in the following places: Bushwick, Flatbush, Flatlands, Brooklyn, New Utrecht, Gravesend, and Jamaica, from 1705 to 1744. He died July 18,1744. He was a gentleman of extensive learning, exemplary piety, kind, benevolent,, and charitable to all; and resigned under all his afflictions, losses, calamities, and misfortunes, which befel him in his own person and family.
