John Watson Adams [1]
a Presbyterian minister, was born at Simsbury, Conn.. Dec. 6, 1796. He was converted on 1816, graduated at Hamilton College :in 1822, and afterwards studied in the Auburn Theological Seminary. In 1826 he was installed pastor of :the First Presbyterian Church in Syracuse, N. Y., where he remained until his death, April 6,1850.
